Elysium Black Muscat 2005 Andrew Quady (375ml) £20.00
The most fantastic deep magenta colour due in part to new vineyard practices of excessive leaf pulling and cane cutting. This practice also adds to more of a red fruit and litchi aroma. Elysium is used to either accompany or replace dessert. It makes a wonderful accompaniment to blue cheeses, red fruit or vanilla-based desserts, ice cream, and is one of the very few wines which perfectly accompany chocolate. Best if served slightly chilled. (California)
